Shawnon has been styling hair and lifting spirits behind the chair since the ‘90s. A rare combination of talent, grace, humility and boundless energy, Shawnon makes every appointment fun, relaxing, and therapeutic.

Her career began at By Design Salon on Cape Cod. It was there, under the guidance and mentorship of the salon’s owner Janet, that Shawnon honed her skills. Shawnon is committed to staying at the top of her beauty game, and over the years has taken dozens of professional courses and continuing education workshops from the likes of Goldwell, Schwartzkopf, Redken, Wella, and too many others to list. She proudly holds precision cutting certifications from TIGI (Toni & Guy).

Shawnon has been sharing her talents here in Manchester, Vermont since approximately Y2K. Since coming to Vermont from the Cape, she has graced beauty-seekers with her skills first as co-owner of The Green Door, and now as owner of The Honeycomb. Shawnon’s vision of a unique collective of like-minded practitioners informed what has become today’s Honeycomb Beauty and Wellness Center. You can see from the moment you step into the perfectly appointed space that her intentions are to connect organically through natural elements, evoking peace, calm, and joy.
